About The Position

The Bulk Milk Tanker Driver will rotate shifts with other drivers including weekends. They are responsible for operating a tractor with tanker in a safe and appropriate manner. Driver’s must conduct all activities in accordance with the Dairy Industry Act and Regulation and with company policies and procedures. All activities must also be completed in a respectful manner, towards customers, other drivers, the public, and management. Requirements

You have a Class 1 drivers license to operate a tractor trailer
You have successful experience in hauling Super B and unstable load
You have successful experience working independently
Class 1 Driver’s License to operate and drive a tractor trailer – Super B experience preferred
Able to reliably commute to our Coaldale, AB location on a daily basis
Experience hauling unstable loads
Must obtain Milk Grader’s License (training will be provided)
Must pass a company driving test and medical
Reasonably clean drivers abstract

Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of bulk transport vehicle
Adhere to safety practices and procedures
Adhere to Dairy Industry Act and Regulations
Adhere to applicable Transportation regulations, Occupational Health and Safety, and National Safety Code Regulations
Maintain strong communication with peers, customers, and Lead Hand/Route foreman
Fuel vehicle, check oil, and report required repairs/maintenance
Maintain logbooks/records on mileage, report all accidents and turn paperwork in a timely manner
Load and unload truck with minimal to no product loss
Cleaning exterior and inside the tanks of bulk milk trucks
Maintain excellent attendance along with clean work habits
Climb ladders to the top of the bulk tanks to check tank levels and for cleanliness
Perform other duties as required
