About The Position

The Bulk Driver is responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered product to assigned accounts on specified routes. This role involves checking the accuracy and stability of the load, delivering products to customers, and moving, lifting, and loading product and company property on and from the trailer. The driver will also pick up company property from customer locations, collect returns, and secure company assets. Additionally, the role requires utilizing computer technology to create customer invoices, collect money due, and settle all customer accounts daily. Providing excellent customer service, meeting customer expectations through communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures, including DOT regulations, are key aspects of this position. Collaboration with cross-functional departments to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction is also expected.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of work experience required.
Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
CDL license needs to cover both automatic and manual vehicles.
Capable of driving both a manual and automatic (CDL) truck.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred.
Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

Check accuracy and stability of the load.
