About The Position
Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk in Fontana, California. El Super has been serving communities for over 25 years, offering a wide variety of products and authentic in-house service departments. Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers.
- Assist customers with their needs.
- Clean, fill, and rotate cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.
- Replenish product in assigned areas as instructed by management.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.
