About The Position

Decker Truck Line, a family-owned company with over 95 years in business, is seeking an experienced Buildings & Grounds professional to join their team at their Corporate Headquarters in Fort Dodge. This role offers a great working schedule of Monday-Friday, with options for 7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM shifts, and on-call duties as needed. Requirements

• Previous directly-related experience
• Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Valid Drivers License

Nice To Haves

• HVAC experience a plus
• Prior Overhead Door Maintenance a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, blowers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other tools and equipment as needed to clean and maintain buildings
• Routine and extensive grounds keeping and custodial care including: Mowing the grass and landscape upkeep
• Snow removal when needed
• Light electrical and plumbing
• Sweep, mop, polish floors
• Paint shop areas as needed
• Clean and organize all areas as needed
• Restock supplies as needed
• Remove trash and recyclables as needed
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
