Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
3 years of facilities/maintenance experience is required.
Must have general knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Responsibilities

Implement the preventative maintenance program of all mechanical equipment and to complete necessary and scheduled work order repairs.
Contribute to the achievement of excellence through quality and care values in line with the mission of Duncaster.
Demonstrate dependability by completing commitments within established guidelines and completing necessary repairs.
Check the Worx Hub work orders daily and logs their progress from their assigned tablet.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Maintain generator in good repair.
Complete daily inspection of generator room and weekly generator testing.
Complete all necessary documentation for inspections, testing etc. as required.
Notify manager and/or appropriate administrative personnel of serious mechanical problems in facility which may affect resident care or operations.
Demonstrate ability to prioritize work and functions in an organized manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
