About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Building Technician II, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires a specific set of qualifications and skills related to building maintenance and systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid SC driver's license
- At least one (1) year of experience in the Building Tech, Level I position
- Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, climbing ladders, crawling in tight areas, and extensive mobility
- Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions
- General understanding of Life Safety codes
- Basic understanding and knowledge of hospital's electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Computer keyboard knowledge
- Good positive communication and people skills
- Good knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
