About The Position

The YMCA of Greater Erie is looking to hire a part-time Building Supervisor at our County YMCA location. This position promotes a positive, professional and welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and exemplifying YMCA values to all members, guests and program participants. The Building Supervisor will provide friendly and efficient service while conducting membership interviews, facility tours, and responding to member and guest needs, promoting and selling memberships and programs, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the YMCA. In the absence of any other higher-ranking director or coordinator, the Building Supervisor acts as the 'department supervisor' for the location, with an eye for safety. They also promote memberships and programs, answer questions, and perform various maintenance and facility-related duties. The Building Supervisor is the location's primary first responder to all security and fire alarms. They provide branch tours to new members and are relied upon to open and/or close the facility using proper protocol.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR Pro (CPR for health care providers and first responders) and First Aid training (for the community and workplace)
  • Excellent human relation skills
  • Dependable
