Building Supervisor
About The Position
The Westfield Area YMCA is looking to hire part time Building Supervisors to work Friday evenings 5:30pm - 10:15pm and Saturday evenings 4pm - 8:15pm. Other possible shifts include M-F 5:30pm - 10:15pm and Sunday 3pm - 6pm. Responsibilities include security & safety of our Y members, participants, and staff, as well as, the supervision of and proper function of the facility. Requires good customer service skills, membership interactions providing services as necessary, and must be able to handle problems and emergencies at the facility as necessary. Pay Range: $17.00-$21.00 per hour, based on years of related experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a mature, professional attitude at all times and has the ability to take the lead and make decisions during circumstances regarding safety, security and emergency situations to protect the interests of our members, staff and facilities.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic attitude
- Able to react appropriately to emergencies
- Basic Life Support, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen are required; the Y offers trainings on-site at no cost.
