JMT is seeking a structural engineer to work on a wide variety of building and facility projects, including commercial projects and municipal, state, and federal government structures. The role involves structural engineering work from initial framing-plan layout through construction administration. The qualified candidate should have a sound technical background, a high energy level, and the ability to work independently and within a strong team environment while serving clients on major projects throughout the East Coast.

The annualized salary range is $90,000–$115,360, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The stated range is a good-faith estimate and may vary based on the selected candidate’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multidisciplinary design team and perform structural engineering work to support the team.
• Perform structural framing layout, design calculations, and supporting structural detailing for reports and construction documents.
• Develop construction documents using Revit software.
• Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines using design software and drawing tools.
• Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
• Coordinate with internal and external team members to complete projects by established deadlines and quality requirements.
