About The Position

As a Building Services Technician, your role is essential in enriching the lives of our community members. You will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings and equipment are in good condition and operating efficiently. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of grounds and common areas. Your dedication and high energy towards your work will allow residents to feel at ease, knowing that their homes and surroundings are in safe hands. You will also be expected to respond promptly to any maintenance requests.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Able to work an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
Experience with general maintenance in a community setting
Basic knowledge of appliance, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair
Knowledge and experience working with technology such as smart phones, tablets, smart remotes, smart TVs and personal computers.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Working knowledge of business software and Microsoft operating systems
Be able to read, write and speak English in order to communicate clearly with other team members and residents
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
Valid Driver License
Ability to pass a drug screening
Possess or willing to obtain a State of Oklahoma Health Department Fingerprint Clearance

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a health care environment is a plus.
