About The Position

We are currently seeking the right person to join our Building Services team as a Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Technicians at Touchmark possess a thorough knowledge of residential maintenance, repair, and service. If you enjoy working independently and doing a range of unique tasks, this is a great position.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have the ability to move quickly to various areas of the entire property
• Be able to read, write, and speak English in order to communicate clearly with other team members and residents
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Possess a current valid driver license and a reliable form of personal transportation to get to work
• Skilled in providing excellent customer relations by exchanging information with courtesy and consideration.
• A good mechanical aptitude
• Follows safety rules and is willing to wear all required personal protective equipment relating to job safety and healthcare safety.
• Ability to work as a team or individually with communication always taking top priority

Responsibilities

• Observes, analyzes, and determines the corrective course of action for service and repair
• Performs necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations professionally and productively
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule to include periodic weekend shifts
