Building Services - Custodian
About The Position
This position is responsible for basic cleaning responsibilities to provide the best possible environment to support those who work and study at Concordia. The Custodian will support the mission and vision of Concordia College and be able to work with a diverse group of people including co-workers, students, staff, faculty, etc. in a professional manner. Assigned cleaning tasks may include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, windows, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Assigned non-cleaning tasks may include snow removal at building entrances, changing light bulbs, care of assigned equipment, etc.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required or successful related work experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate and care for various custodial equipment

Responsibilities

- Clean assigned areas, which could include classrooms, offices, restrooms, dorm rooms, apartments, and other public spaces
- Assigned cleaning tasks may include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, windows, dusting, vacuuming, etc.
- Assigned non-cleaning tasks may include snow removal at building entrances, changing light bulbs, care of assigned equipment, etc.
