About The Position

This is a 12-month, Non-Exempt position with terms of employment as outlined. The salary is based on the AFSCME UA, Grade 3-4 scale. The role involves cleaning and maintaining school facilities, grounds, and equipment, as well as assisting with supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor.
• Good verbal communications and human relations skills.
• A willingness to work overtime as required in cases of emergency.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and cares for floors.
• Collects refuse both inside and outside the building.
• Dusts and cleans walls, windows, ceilings, and equipment.
• Cares for the exterior of the building and grounds.
• Assists in the receipt and relocation of supplies and equipment.
• Regular on-time attendance.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Operations or the School/Building Principal.
