The Building Security Guard role is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and control of the building, managing access, monitoring CCTV, communicating with truck crews, scanning personnel, completing reports, and protecting company assets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, security, and control of the building at all times
• Control access to the building; verify identification and entrance authorization
• Monitor CCTV system for anything suspicious near the building
• Alert management of anything suspicious and notify emergency services, if necessary
• Maintain radio communication with truck crews throughout the day
• Scan personnel with metal detectors
• Complete daily reports
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned
• Guard liability and assets
