As a Building Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrols, customer Client relationship and exceptional customer service, since you will be working with people all shift, in an Office environment.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Be able to take up temporary position ( Coverage)
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Comfortable with interacting with unauthorized individuals
- Good with technology-based systems

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas.
- Perform checks of mechanical and utility rooms during the shift.
- Monitor stairwells and common areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct exterior checks of building entrances and parking areas.
- Maintain a presence at the security desk during designated hours.
- Access control at all entry and exit ways
- Report every incident and tenant complaint to the client
- Conduct general patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security
- Maintain a presence at the security desk during designated hour
- Respond to emergencies on a required basis
- Record readings from utility meters as needed.
