About The Position
This position performs operation and maintenance of critical building HVAC and systems including Refrigeration, Air Handlers, Exhaust Fans, Roof Top units, Boilers, and related mechanical/electrical equipment. The role requires troubleshooting problems, performing preventative maintenance, and adjusting the equipment to ensure proper equipment function and required environmental conditions.
Requirements
- HVAC/EPA Certification
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair service work on site utility systems such Air compressors, Air Handling units, Exhaust Fans, and Roof Top HVAC units.
- Perform basic repairs to HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine tests and inspections on support equipment including water testing, Chemical inventories, Brine levels etc.
- Performing preventive maintenance and repair on other operational equipment as required.
- Assisting other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
- Identifying, utilizing, and operating tools and equipment associated with mechanical systems while completing JHA and work permits.
- Documenting all work performed in Computerized Maintenance Management System and communicating regularly with Supervisor and Chief Engineer.
- Ordering materials, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and ensuring proper storage of hazardous materials.
