Performs a variety of duties related to the opening, monitoring, and securing of District facilities during evening and weekend room rentals. Meets with renters before and after facility use to inspect and document the condition of facilities, furnishings, and equipment. Monitors facilities during rentals to ensure compliance with District policies and to help prevent damage or misuse. Responds to renter questions, addresses facility or equipment concerns, and provides information regarding District policies, procedures, programs, and facilities. Performs light custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning to maintain District facilities. Assists with the setup, breakdown, and storage of tables, chairs, and equipment as needed. Secures District buildings following completion of rentals and performs other related duties as assigned. Incumbents in this classification are temporary employees and may not advance to permanent status in any District job classification. Hours of work vary based on the volume and frequency of evening and weekend room rentals. Incumbents represent the District as primary point of contact for persons who rent District rooms for use in the evening or on weekends; help ensure the cleanliness, security, and proper use of District facilities while providing exceptional customer service to facility renters and responds to renter issues and inquiries to provide a positive rental experience. May be required to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, or irregular hours based on operational needs and facility rental schedules.
