About The Position
Wight & Company is seeking summer interns to join our Mechanical Engineering group in our Darien office. As an engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work with engineering teams on projects and collaborate with Wight's architects and construction managers. Requirements
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Good organization and computer skills
- Openness to learn and have fun
Nice To Haves
- Revit building information modelling experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Work with Junior and Senior Engineers to develop creative solutions to challenges in the design processes
- Expand upon existing technical and computer skills to aid with day-to-day activities
- Attend team and client meetings in-house and on-site
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relations
- Provide meaningful contributions to project advancement and completion
