About The Position
The district is hiring a Maintenance Center Building Mechanic at tier 1, 2, or 3 for the 2026–2027 school year. The final tier will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, certifications, and qualifications, and applicants at all skill levels are encouraged to apply. This is a year-round position, typically scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, or as assigned. Assigned hours may vary with district needs, including snow, emergencies, and workload, and may occur 24/7. Hourly wages after a 60-day probationary period are $27.47 for tier 3, $30.01 for tier 2, and $31.06 for tier 1.
