About The Position

The Building Manager is responsible for supervising and managing all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services. Manager will oversee additional services including Mailroom, custodial services, groundskeeping and Event setup for all training and multipurpose rooms. Building Manager will oversee a staff of 10-12 full-time employees. Responsibilities include all staffing responsibilities, training, feedback, client interaction & feedback, scheduling of outsourced services, full P&L oversight and client invoicing. Building Manager will be responsible for all building critical and support systems including HVAC, backup generators, general maintenance, parking garage functionality, access system, etc. At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Requirements

  • Requires at least 5 years of experience in maintenance
  • Requires 3-4 years of experience in a management role
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage as part of a larger team or manage function independently, without direct supervision
  • The ability to multi-task is a must

  • Responsible for developing and executing maintenance solutions to meet customer needs
  • Executes facilities maintenance and upkeep following predefined specifications
  • Leads, mentors, engages and develops teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance
  • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved
  • Ensures safety and sanitation standards in operation are compliant with Aramark and client regulations
  • Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress
  • Reports to client on P&L reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L or client budget statements
  • Deliver client and company financial targets
  • Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
