About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Candidates who have previously been employed with Tyson have a 180-day waiting period and a 3-time limit. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S.; and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of a post-offer health assessment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience in the skills listed below
Valid driver’s license
Carpentry and carpentry tools, e.g., different types of saws (electric and hand), routers and planers, use of framing squares and tape measures
110 vac electrical basics, e.g., household lighting, outlets and types, switches (2 and 3 way), fans
Painting and stains, how to apply and application methods
Basic vehicle maintenance, e.g., cars, pickups, lawn and garden equipment
Concrete work, forming, finishing
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
