About The Position

MMS is seeking talented Property Managers to join their team. This posting is designed to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities throughout their portfolio. While there may not be an immediate opening in every location, applicants will be considered as positions become available. Our Maintenance technicians are responsible for the maintenance operations related to apartment home upkeep and unit turns.

Requirements

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property management/apartment maintenance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• valid driver’s license
• Fire Safety certification
• Possession of basic tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain residential apartment homes and other areas on the property, including building exteriors, interiors, and public areas, regularly.
• Perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical, and other repairs in residential apartments and other areas of the property.
• Install tile and laminate flooring.
• Take part in the on-call rotation schedule, responding to emergency calls according to the company's policy on after-hour emergency calls.
• Manage the turnover of empty apartment units, including repairs (e.g., sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, and fixing doors, windows, light fixtures, etc.).
• Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.
