About The Position

This role reports to the building maintenance manager and is responsible to evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the buildings. On a daily basis our Building Maintenance Technician: Evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the buildings. Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work. Provide upkeep and maintain a safe working environment by performing general repairs of doors, walls, fixtures, ect. Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using hand, power, and specialty tools. Prepare the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment (ex. walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (ex. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.). Always maintain corporate safety policies and procedures Inspect fire pump and fire extinguishers from time to time. Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of maintenance experience.
  • Clean background and Florida Driver’s License.
  • Able to inspect and evaluate all aspects of the buildings.
  • Lift up to 60 Ibs.
  • Communicate verbally to take work orders and work with all departments.
