About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks related to maintenance, preventative maintenance, construction, and repair across multiple facilities. This role may involve specialization in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or other qualified trades.
Requirements
- Proven experience in one or more skilled trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform general and preventative maintenance in assigned facilities
- Complete construction and repair projects as required
- Prioritize and respond to work orders and maintenance requests
- Coordinate with management on complex maintenance and repair jobs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition
- Clean work areas following the completion of projects
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members through professional and cooperative communication
