About The Position
Our company operates Residential Treatment Programs for individuals with Substance Abuse Disorder. This Building Maintenance Technician position typically requires 10-15 hours per week, depending on projects. It offers flexible scheduling, ideal for someone seeking side work or an independent contractor looking for additional opportunities. Typical hours would fall between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm, including weekends as required or needed. This is a Part Time/PRN position. Compensation is $19 to $22 an hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Experience with building maintenance and routine repairs
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Authorization to work in the US is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience contacting and managing outside vendors preferred
- Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
- Commitment to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
Responsibilities
- Ensure the facility is well maintained
- Receive, prioritize, distribute, and complete work orders for small maintenance repairs
- Manage vendor bids and oversee outside contractors for services such as pest control, trash pickup, systems testing, etc.
- Maintain facility grounds and landscaping, including routine mowing, cleaning flower beds, and minor trash pickup as needed
