About The Position

The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and five-star appearance of the exterior portions of all buildings on the property. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure all buildings maintain a high standard of upkeep and presentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some vocational courses related to the position
• Ability to communicate clearly with management, team members, and Blackberry Farm guests in an informative and consistent manner.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic math
• Ability to think outside the box and to place interim measures in effect to minimize downtime of essential services
• Ability to troubleshoot various systems, with the objective being to repair and reduce downtime for guests and employees
• Ability to exercise good judgment and make appropriate decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of temperature or weather.
• Must be able to safely operate a golf cart, and/or company vehicle.
• Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.

• Fence Repair
• Cleaning Rooftops and gutters
• Removing cobwebs from the exterior of buildings
• Some mold and mildew treatment
• Some general maintenance
