About The Position

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technician. The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of building assets. This position is also responsible for basic maintenance and organization to ensure that facilities and equipment are in good condition at all times for customers and employees. The starting rate of pay is $19 - $22 / hr based on experience and certifications. This position is based out of 5536 Airport Rd; Roanoke, VA 24012 will service multiple locations. Including but not limited to Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Blackburg and Abingdon. A company vehicle is supplied for transportation and storage of tools, equipment and materials. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing or other trade skills required.
Must have experience with repair/maintenance of household and commercial items ("handyman" type skills)
Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs, climb a ladder and operate various power tools
Must have a current and valid driver's license.
Must have no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the last 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points)
Must have no alcohol or drug related conviction on driving record in the last 3 years
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Routine general maintenance and repair work such as light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpet/floor cleaning, and snow and ice removal
Timely completion of work orders generated by call-in requests or preventive maintenance schedule
Perform duties of the company’s preventative maintenance program
Troubleshoot general problems
Move items as needed (i.e. furniture, file cabinets, boxes, artwork etc.)
Delivery of office and building supplies
Small appliance and equipment installation (pressure washers, air compressors, etc…)
Working outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment
Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
