About The Position
Arbors Management Inc. currently has an opening for a full-time Building Maintenance Technician located in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar area of Pittsburgh. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of an 81-unit, Senior & Disabled, independent living, high-rise building. This is a full-time position that works daylight hours. On-call time will be required to cover for any emergency repairs after hours and on weekends. The on-call schedule rotates with other maintenance staff.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Electrical skills - Intermediate
- Plumbing skills - Intermediate
- HVAC skills - Beginner (Basic - no certification needed)
- A POSITIVE attitude and willingness to learn
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must have driver’s license / vehicle insurance and personal vehicle

Responsibilities
- Ensuring all work orders from residents are handled in a timely manner
- Plumbing repairs including; H2O tanks, toilets, sinks, drains, etc.
- Electrical repairs including; lights, switches, outlets, breakers and troubleshooting
- HVAC (No Certification needed) - replacing PTAC units, cleaning filters, thermostats, etc.
- Outside maintenance including; grass cutting, snow removal and keeping the grounds free of debris
- Custodial duties including keeping common areas clean, window cleaning (ground-level only) and trash removal (trash compactor)
