About The Position

NFM’s Building Maintenance Technician III focuses on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical equipment, material handling equipment, and other specialized equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining building, grounds, and equipment to keep the business operating efficiently within a world-class facility.

Requirements

• 2 years heating, air conditioning and ventilation; concrete repair, light electrical work and plumbing experience required.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant coursework in heating, air conditioning, ventilation, mechanical repair, or carpentry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of refrigeration principles and tools to operate and repair AC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on heating, ventilation, and AC equipment.
• Complete regular preventative maintenance on snow removal equipment and other specialty machines.
• Maintain working knowledge of reading electrical diagrams/schematics and experience with general shop equipment.
• Effectively complete work orders, enter in job notes, and maintain records of maintenance performed.
• Perform all types of building repairs to maintain the facility.
