About The Position

This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, conducting inspections, maintaining records, and assisting with facility setups. The position also includes cleaning and maintaining building facilities, ensuring equipment and systems function properly, and handling waste management. Prompt response to maintenance requests and emergencies is crucial. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or facility management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects as necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing repair or maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and special projects.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of building facilities, including restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
• Handle waste management, including recycling and disposal of hazardous materials as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
