About The Position

Work involves responsibility for performing semi-skilled facilities, buildings & grounds maintenance, repair and cleaning related tasks and activities for all ProEnergy Services grounds, which may be performed indoors or outdoors and in adverse weather conditions. Also requires performing manual labor and operating equipment related to the work task.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+ years of responsible experience in grounds keeping or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
Selected candidate must be able to satisfactorily pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

2+ years’ experience in all aspects of painting.
Working knowledge of modern facilities, buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices.
Working knowledge of safety precautions and practices associated with modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities

Performs semi-skilled facilities building maintenance and repair including changing ballasts, rewiring lights, repairing toilets, and patching or replacing sheetrock and tiles.
Cuts lawn using hand, power or riding mower; trims and edges around walkways, flower beds, walls, etc.
Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs; prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.
Sprays lawns, trees and shrubs with fertilizers and insecticides.
Removes snow and ice from building walkways and steps; may rake leaves, clean and sweep litter.
May perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping
May perform routine laboring and maintenance duties when grounds keeping work has been completed
Loads and unloads materials and supplies, as needed.
Serves as general building worker performing a variety of basic tasks.
Perform regular vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
Responsible for vehicle cleaning and upkeep.
Performs preventive maintenance on facilities, building & grounds related equipment.
