About The Position

This role performs technical inspections of construction sites, reviews plans for code compliance, and ensures adherence to City standards. You’ll work closely with contractors and stakeholders to support quality development under the guidance of the Building Official.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of journey-level building construction or inspection.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • ICC Building Inspector Certification.
  • Experience with conducting jurisdictional inspections.
