About The Position

GEOMETRICS is an airport planning, design, construction management & inspection, and program/project management firm, with specialized focus on complex airfield and facility improvement projects and programs at large, medium and small hub, commercial and general aviation airports across the United States. Since its inception in 2015, Geometrics has successfully completed over 55 airfield projects at 30 airports in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington. Geometrics Engineering is seeking multiple experienced BIM Coordinators, preferably specialized in large-scale aviation infrastructure to oversee the digital lifecycle of complex airport projects. In this role, the ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and field execution by leading multi-disciplinary clash detection meetings, enforcing complex data standards, and ensuring seamless digital handovers aligned with strict airport authority facility management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience and at least 2 years of aviation experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360.
• Must be able to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge at AUS.
• Valid Driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit or Navisworks)
• Experience with GIS integration (e.g., Esri ArcGIS)
• Knowledge of Dynamo or Python

Responsibilities

• Integrate and coordinate complex 3D models containing specialized airport elements.
• Run comprehensive conflict-detection audits.
• Asset Data Management (COBie).
• 4D Logistics & Sequencing.
• Review and enforce project compliance with specific Airport Authority BIM Standards.
• Laser Scan Validation
