About The Position

A working coordinator role focused on supporting housekeeping and facility cleaning operations to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment. Coordinates day-to-day housekeeping activities, provides guidance and support to assigned team members, and actively performs cleaning duties to support operational needs and maintain facility standards.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of housekeeping and training experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
  • Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week
  • Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.
  • Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and support the completion of routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleaning records, logs, and documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for housekeeping-related concerns, responding to requests, communicating priorities, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain and update housekeeping documentation, cleaning schedules, logs, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with the coordination of housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, office, and common areas to support facility cleanliness and operational requirements.
  • Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment to ensure team members have the resources needed to perform their duties.
  • Run basic reports, complete required documentation, and assist in gathering data related to housekeeping performance, inspections, and cleaning activities.
  • Support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and facility cleaning standards.
  • Participate in and promote 5S, safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and department expectations.
  • Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as a working member of the team, including providing coverage during employee absences, vacancies, and periods of increased workload.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
