About The Position

Envocore LLC is seeking a Building Envelope Technician to perform upgrades for federal, municipal, and educational partners nationwide. This is a travel-based position that may start locally before becoming travel-based following training. The role involves a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work related to maintenance, carpentry, caulking, spray-foam, foam board, fiberglass insulation, and secondary window installations.

Responsibilities

  • Measure door frames using a tape measure.
  • Cut weather stripping to length using a miter saw.
  • Use drills and various types and sizes of drill bits.
  • Measure and cut Styrofoam board with a utility knife.
  • Install fiberglass insulation.
  • Apply spray foam.
  • Perform window caulking.
  • Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to measure, cut, drill, mount, and caulk various Building Envelope materials.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and staging material.
  • Work on elevated platforms including ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and other mechanized equipment.
  • Comply with and maintain the company’s personnel hand tool requirements.
  • Maintain tools and maintenance equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Travel to various projects.
