About The Position

The Building Engineer will work onsite at a 327,000-square-foot call center facility in Carmel, Indiana. The role is primarily independent, with close collaboration with the hiring manager, and backfills an open position. The contract is for five months, with potential for extension and potential conversion to a full-time employee. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some overtime and very occasional emergency on-call work as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of experience.
• Basic plumbing skills.
• Basic electrical skills.
• HVAC servicing skills.
• General maintenance skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Highly professional attitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• CMMS experience.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Building automation system knowledge.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Any HVAC license is highly preferred.
• Advanced maintenance skills.
• Commercial HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning building rounds.
