About The Position

This is a heavy-travel position supporting large projects throughout the US, with frequent travel to project sites that may occur weekly or every two weeks depending on project needs, including occasional extended periods on site. The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting high-performing building enclosures on large, fast-paced projects, with a significant focus on data center construction. This role brings strong technical knowledge of building science, enclosure design, and construction to projects that require close coordination between design teams, contractors, clients, and field staff. You will support projects from design and documentation through construction and field review, evaluating building conditions and helping develop practical, durable enclosure solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Architectural Science, or a related discipline from an accredited university
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in building enclosure consulting, building science, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer or Architect registration, or actively working toward licensure, with ability to stamp as required
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical components of projects and supporting project financial performance
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to project sites, including occasional extended periods on site

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution of building enclosure scopes on projects of moderate complexity, including large-scale data center projects
  • Complete investigations, analysis, design, documentation, and field reviews with a high degree of independence
  • Provide regular on-site support during construction, documenting observations and helping resolve enclosure-related issues
  • Deliver assigned scopes within budget and schedule while maintaining strong technical quality
  • Complete project administration tasks to support effective project management
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to support timely project delivery
  • Mentor and support junior staff through task-level guidance and review
  • Navigate team conflicts and ethical considerations professionally
  • Embed health and safety into project planning, travel, and field activities
  • Support responsible stewardship of company resources
