Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction administration, construction management, or a related field; comparable directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience overseeing building construction, renovation, or improvement projects.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience, including managing staff, contractors, or project teams.
  • CAPM certification required, or the ability to obtain it within 1 year of hire or promotion.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using standard business technology and office equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Visions values diverse backgrounds and will consider a combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certification in building construction, project management, facilities, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned construction and facilities projects from planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  • Keep projects on track by proactively managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and costs while maintaining strong quality and safety standards.
  • Partner with internal leaders, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to move projects forward efficiently and resolve issues quickly.
  • Review contracts, change orders, and project-related documentation to ensure compliance with policy, legal requirements, and business expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide clear status updates on milestones, spending, risks, and overall progress to leadership.
  • Support contractor and vendor selection, due diligence, relationship management, and performance oversight.
  • Balance workloads, scheduling, and available resources to maintain strong project execution and operational coverage.
  • Share technical guidance and project insight with internal teams and contribute to process improvements and post-project reviews.
  • Help foster an inclusive, collaborative, and service-focused culture that aligns with Visions’ mission and values.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational priorities and long-term success.
