Building Construction Instructor (2026-2027)
About The Position
This position is for a Building Construction Instructor for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of relevant work experience. Specifically, hands-on work experience as a residential or commercial carpenter is necessary. Please note that company owner/manager experience alone, or holding a Commercial Builders License, does not fulfill the industry work experience requirement for this certification area. Experience solely in cabinetry, roofing, or framing is also not sufficient. Candidates must be able to complete the NCCER Commercial Carpenter Exam, with all trade exams and certifications needing to be completed by June 30th of the second teaching year.
