Completes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance/repair of building automation systems for airport monitoring technology. Work to ensure continuous integration between various systems/equipment/peripheral devices and main computer hub(s). Completes basic maintenance assignments involving but not limited to preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing system faults; cleaning, and/or electrical and software diagnostics/adjustments. Monitors system operation; diagnose equipment failures; ensures equipment is running safely. Provides direction, guidance and expertise to other personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities. Reads and interprets technical documents, repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor/manager’s instructions. Run reports and analytics as well as verify input data for accuracy for various system and processes which can be easily interpreted by others. Using system generated data, look for trends in component behavior and create proactive solutions to mitigate downtime and incidents. Perform repairs and diagnostics for networks, control modules and peripheral devices. Install and configure new equipment and software. Works in tight and/or high spaces utilizing appropriate PPE and fall protection equipment. Follows and complies with all company and federally established policies and procedures; completes all applicable training courses assigned by the company. Completes forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures. Performs additional duties/assignments as may be required by management. Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company. Compliance with all DSUS safety programs, policies and procedures. Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
