As Building Automation Systems Technician III, you will install, inspect, troubleshoot and maintain various Building Automation Systems onsite and via remote connections.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working within one or more of the following areas: installation, maintenance or repair of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), Information Technology, Operational Technology, Pneumatic Systems, lighting controls or other related fields including 1 year of experience using the Niagara framework in a role as a Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator
  • Advanced knowledge of BAS software protocols, i.e., BACnet, LonWorks, Comm4, N2, and P2
  • Working knowledge and understanding of IT and OT infrastructures related to BAS network.
  • Strong customer service background and teaching skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Software

Nice To Haves

  • Niagara 4 Advanced Technical Certification Program certification or Niagara 4 Analytic certification through Tridium

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and advise on system malfunctions and operational requirements.
  • Read, write, modify and maintain automated building software and hardware for designated systems.
  • Provide technical insight on Niagara analytic platform.
  • Maintain BAS user access including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory and SAML Single Sign-On.
  • Ensure safe and effective operations and working environment.
  • Respond to alarms, sensors, and alerts appropriately.
  • Modify alarms to reduce alarm fatigue for end users.
  • Monitor, Inspect, maintain and calibrate all temperature, humidity and recording devices including meters and gauges.
  • Maintain inventory and records for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.
  • Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
