A caregiver in this position works nights Monday – Friday from 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. with the ability to travel locally in Northeast Ohio as needed.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of exposure and demonstrated understanding of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) or building automation systems (BAS).
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Typical physical demands require full body motion including ability to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching and climbing ladders.
  • Requires dexterity and strength sufficient to operate required tools and machinery.
  • Typically required to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing 25 to 100 lbs. and/or assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lbs.
  • Requires color acuity sufficient to distinguish color-coded signage and systems.
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, analyzing and/or maintaining Building Automation Systems, remote connections and system malfunctions.
  • Respond to alarms and alerts.
  • Ensure safe and effective operations and working environments.
  • Monitor all critical temperature and humidity devices, such as meters and gauges.
  • Assist with inspecting and calibrating devices.
  • Assist other caregivers with inventory.
  • Record for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.
  • Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.
