About The Position
The BAS Controls Engineer (BACE) maintains a comfortable and safe environment through the management of the Building Automation System (BAS), lighting control systems, and monitoring based commissioning systems. The BAS Controls Engineer works as the campus subject matter expert pertaining to Building Automation Systems. These systems are implemented in every major construction project at BU. The BACE works with the Union Technicians, and subject matter experts to resolve technical issues associated with the BAS, HVAC, or Lighting Control Systems.
Requirements
- Expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Knowledge of lighting control systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring based commissioning systems.
- Ability to work with Union Technicians and subject matter experts.
- Skills in resolving technical issues related to BAS, HVAC, or Lighting Control Systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Building Automation System (BAS), lighting control systems, and monitoring based commissioning systems.
- Serve as the campus subject matter expert for Building Automation Systems.
- Resolve technical issues associated with the BAS, HVAC, or Lighting Control Systems in collaboration with Union Technicians and subject matter experts.
