About The Position

The City of St. Peters is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Attendant to join our team at Water's Edge & Golf Club. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and golfers. This second-shift position plays a key role in ensuring our facilities are well-prepared for daily operations and events.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Motor Vehicle Operator's License valid in the state of Missouri
  • Fundamental knowledge of janitorial equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff and the public
  • Perform event set up and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, and linens according to event specifications
  • Maintain facility cleanliness before, during, and after events while supporting event operations team
  • Complete facility closing procedures at the end of each event
  • Perform general custodial tasks (trash removal, cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, operating floor equipment, performing equipment preventative maintenance, utilizing basic hand tools, etc.)
  • Order and restock supplies
  • Shovel and salt walkways during snow/ice conditions
