About The Position

A Builder repairs and assembles cabinets with quality or material issues to pass inspection using various tools and fixtures. This role involves using pneumatic equipment, power, and hand tools, hot melt glue, jigs, and other equipment to assemble cabinets and/or install missing components. The Builder will check components and assembled cabinets for quality standards, assemble packing trays, and use computer programs for building and repair tasks. They will also interpret production labels and data, work on off-line tasks to address building errors, and maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
• Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb

Responsibilities

• Use of pneumatic equipment, power, and hand tools; hot melt glue, jigs, and other equipment to assemble cabinets and/or install missing components of cabinets to specifications
• Check components and assembled cabinets for quality standards and assemble packing trays
• Use computer programs in various aspects in building and repair of cabinets to specifications
• Accurately interpret production labels and data in various computer systems
• When assigned, work on the off-line to address building errors
• Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned
