About The Position

Mill Creek Granite is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Builder Salesperson to grow and manage our builder and contractor accounts. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong partnerships with residential and commercial builders, and serving as a trusted granite and surface solutions expert from project conception through installation. The ideal candidate understands the construction process, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, construction management, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in building materials, stone, flooring, cabinetry, or construction-related industries
  • Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build long-term relationships and close sales
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally to jobsites and customer meetings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling granite, quartz, or solid surface products
  • Existing builder or contractor relationships
  • Knowledge of estimating, takeoffs, and construction drawings

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and expand relationships with residential and commercial builders, contractors, and developers
  • Prospect new builder accounts through jobsite visits, networking, cold calls, and referrals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned builder accounts, ensuring seamless communication and service
  • Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, templating, production, scheduling, and installation) to ensure project accuracy and timelines
  • Assist builders with product selection, pricing, lead times, and technical guidance on granite, quartz, and other surface materials
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts in alignment with division pricing strategies
  • Track opportunities, customer activity, and sales pipeline using CRM and internal systems
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and new product lines
  • Attend builder meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, home shows, and industry events as needed
  • Uphold Mill Creek Granite’s standards for professionalism, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
