About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring activities to ensure conformance with Company, government and accrediting agency standards and regulations. The role involves ensuring optimal customer service and client satisfaction, providing cost-effective management, and overseeing all operational activities including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related activities. The supervisor must follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products, oversee daily buffet operations, and ensure smooth service and product availability. Additionally, the role includes leading, coaching, and motivating team members, maintaining food quality and presentation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, coordinating with the kitchen, managing staffing and scheduling, resolving guest issues, leading pre-shift briefings, and supporting inventory control and cost management.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree, or comparable experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
  • Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels.
  • The ability to multi-task and establish priorities
  • Exhibit initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
  • Lead pre-shift briefings and team communication
  • Support inventory control, waste reduction, and cost management
