About The Position

This role involves buffing and polishing in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive, marine, or manufacturing buffing and polishing, and possess knowledge of polishing compounds, buffing techniques, and surface finishing processes. Key responsibilities include identifying and correcting finish-related defects, working in a fast-paced setting, and maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. The position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 40 pounds. Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays is also necessary to meet production demands. Previous experience in manufacturing, body shop, paint prep, or automotive settings is preferred, along with the ability to use hand tools, sanding equipment, and preparation materials safely. Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and willingness to cross-train.
