About The Position

We are looking for Team Members who can display leadership qualities and are looking for growth opportunities. The Budtender reports directly to the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Dispensary Manager. This role is responsible for dispensary operations, acting as a positive influence and advocate for all dispensary staff and patients/customers. The Budtender will assist and document employee and patient/customer conflict resolutions immediately and professionally, and communicate effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers. This role involves the continuing improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all dispensary operations, including compliance, sales, and inventory control, cash handling, and training employees. The Budtender must follow the employee handbook, company policies, and SOPs, while maintaining full compliance, cleanliness, and safety. The position requires practicing high-quality customer service, sales tactics, and upselling techniques to maximize the quality and consistency of each customer's dispensary experience and the efficiency and quality of dispensary operations. The Budtender will also assist as needed in inventory management and re-ordering cannabis products, communicate scheduling needs, and assist in filling any shifts one cannot make. The role requires continually looking for ways to improve the dispensary and dispensary performance. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent and friendly retail, customer service, and cash handling experience required.
  • Inventory management experience expected.
  • Ability to upsell customers.
  • Detail oriented and able to both give and follow instructions.
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism from customers and co-workers.
  • Must be capable of working on your feet for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Must be available for 45 plus hours plus per week.
  • Must be available to work weekends, and nights until 10:30pm.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of Colorado dispensary experience preferred.
  • Experience with dispensaries preferred POS systems, METRC, and Microsoft Office preferred.
