About The Position

As a budtender, you are the face of Nectar! You are responsible for ensuring each customer leaves our stores with the right products they need and a desire to come back and visit us. Our budtenders are the key to ensuring our customers have a positive experience in our stores, whether they are new customers or one of our existing long-term regulars.

Requirements

Must be willing to work weekends.
Must possess a Marijuana Workers' Permit or the ability to obtain one at your own expense.
Must have a reliable method of transportation to get to work.
Exceptional Customer Service skills.
Desire to learn about our products and cannabis therapies.
Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality.
Fun attitude and strong work ethic.
Lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the entirety of a full shift.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic computer skills, point-of-sale software, and cash management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Enhancing the customer experience by providing educated product recommendations.
Embracing the Nectar culture by promoting our deals, rewards program, and customer satisfaction.
Maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment for team members and customers.
Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and that the store is well-maintained.
Promoting a positive work environment that is customer service-oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
Maintain and continuously expand on knowledge of our products, brands and vendors.
Accurately utilize the Point of Sale (Dutchie POS) in person and for online/phone orders.
Detailed and accurate cash handling and proper application of various discounts.
Strong understanding of our deals and promotions to effectively explain them to customers.
Maintains accuracy and confidentiality when inputting Recreational and Medical customer information into our system to conduct sales.
Verifying customers Identification and/or Medical cards before each sale to ensure compliance.
Other miscellaneous store duties vary depending on the location and store needs at any given moment, as assigned by the Management Team.
